The trees in my back yard seem to be taking over my house. If anything is victorious in this scene I would have to say the trees have proven to be a great contender.
My task now is to find a tree groomers to cut down this huge overpowering tree that has chosen to hang out in the alleyway, hopefully this will be its temporary home.
Until I am able to come up with the funds to remove this lovely gigantic and sweeping tree, it has the advantage of trying to conquer the exterior of my house.
Maybe I should be unfriendly to it and it can go away. Maybe this tree this find hanging onto my house very comforting and pleasurable. I have to admit it does add a little mystery on maybe some eeriness to my house.
But this is also quite embarrassing.
So right now this alluring, lingering, and massive tree remains victorious in conquering the foundation of my home, adding maybe a touch of bizarre mystery to my house. Maybe I shouldn’t really be embarrassed or hide my face in shame.
I will be glad when I can claim triumph and defeat this humongous tree that has taken abode in the back alleyway.
This is in response to today’s daily prompt from the Daily Post
I’m not tech savvy when it comes to other electronic devices but I’m pretty good with the computer, but no expert, I guess my brain is backwards. Anyway, I owned a MP3 player that recently met its unfortunate and untimely death with the washer machine so my goal is to purchase a new one, eventually.

But my playlist would be a mix of genres from jazz, new age, alternative music, 70’s, 80’s, a little bit of 90’s and contemporary. I don’t like many contemporary artists, however, I do enjoy; Janelle Monae, Train, Maroon 5, Black-Eyed Peas.
My favorite artist (I guess it would be no surprise) is Stevie Wonder (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing). And of course my favorite group is Earth Wind and Fire (That’s the Way of the World).
Many of us have our “go to music.” That certain song that we play to get us started for the day, to inspire us and put a smile on our faces. Sometimes that song changes. Just a note I’m not a religious person and I by writing this statement you could guess my go to song is a gospel song by Kirk Franklin; “I Smile.”
If you listen to this song you would see why this song inspires me to live.
You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
― Ansel Adams
Sometimes I think; “Where would I be if I didn’t have my camera?” Probably in jail having to be somebody’s girlfriend in order to stay alive. When I’m engaged in taking pictures the world around me ceases to exist at least sometimes, I’m in a dream world my mind and sometimes my body goes to another place, another galaxy. I don’t mean to sound so deep or poetic but this is the way I feel and I’m sure many of you who share the same interest in photography feel the same.
“What i like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”
― Karl Lagerfeld
